
Dr. Carrie L. Jones, PhD, M.Ed., LPC, is a licensed professional counselor, educator, author, and advocate committed to helping individuals, families, and communities heal, grow, and thrive. Through Renewed Mind Marriage & Family Counseling, Dr. Jones provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy grounded in emotional wellness, faith, and practical tools for lasting change.
With more than 25 years in education, including 19 years as a school counselor, Dr. Jones brings deep insight into the emotional, relational, and developmental challenges faced by adolescents, young adults, and families today. Her work is shaped not only by professional experience, but also by her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, and her passion for protecting the innocence and well-being of children.
Dr. Jones has a heart for supporting teens and millennials navigating parent-child relationships, as well as women and men struggling with social and intimate relationships, self-worth, anxiety, and depression. She specializes in helping clients work through:
In addition to clinical counseling, Dr. Carrie L. Jones offers speaking, training, and consultation services for churches, schools, organizations, and community groups. These engagements are educational and advocacy-focused and are designed to raise awareness, foster dialogue, and equip communities with practical tools.
Topics include mental health awareness, trauma-informed care, sexual assault prevention and advocacy, healthy relationships, and faith-based healing. Dr. Jones is also the author of She Was Afraid to Tell, a resource created to support conversations around childhood sexual abuse, body safety, and boundaries.
